The difference in the E-thotics metatarsal dome range is the extensive choice of size and dimension available to you. Also new to the podiatry marketplace is the material. The material is a polyurethane memory which enhances the softer feel under the foot without compromising density and pressure. They are self adhesively backed which is to a significant advantage.

The E-thotic 2-5 Plantar Metatarsal Pads (2-5 PMP's) are quite a new innovation available in the prefab marketplace. The ability to promote 1st ray plantar flexion which is now seen as a critical component of improved foot biomechanics. The plantar metatarsal pad comes in two sizes and is easily adhered to either an in shoe insole or to a pre-existing orthoses. The material too is of a PU memory.

E-thotic Metatarsal Sulcus Pad (met sulcus pads) have been designed to aid patients with forefoot pain syndromes. PU memory material is terrific for decreasing shearing forces and can be easily cut or trimmed to isolate specific metatarsal heads. E-thotic met-sulcus pads are self adhesive and available in two sizes, small and large. The pads are a great adjunct to ladies footwear (heeled shoes) to improve forefoot symptoms and aid with any forefoot fat pad atrophy.
The E-thotic heel raise is indicated for structural or true length discrepancy. E-thotic heel raises are the only dual density heel raises available and their sizes include 3mm,
5mm and 7mm. Importantly, each individual raise is identified with its respective dimensions. Other clinical uses included gait re-education following post surgical joint replacements, minimising the effects of ankle equinus and for some Achilles Tendons pathologies.

65 shore rating. Full length heel raisers are becoming more clinically accepted as they maintain the foot closer to a plantigrade. The full heel raise is able to involve the complete
contact phase of the gait cycle. The full length heel raise will fit easily beneath the existing shoe liner or the patients orthotic. One size - cut to required length.
