OSTENIL® is Sodium hyaluronate (also known as hyaluronic acid or hyaluronan) used for the treatment of osteoarthritis. It is a a natural substance and is present in the body wherever moisture is stored or lubrication between layers of tissue is required to eliminate friction.
OSTENIL® can be injected into the space in joints that contains synovial fluid and works by restoring the normal balance between the breakdown and production of sodium hyaluronate. This effect of OSTENIL® means that it can decrease pain and stiffness and improve the other symptoms of osteoarthritis.

Ostenil® mini is identical to Ostenil® but specifically designed for the treatment of symptoms of osteoarthritis in small synovial joints such as the carpometacarpal joint of the hand, the ankle joint, the temporomandibular joint and the facet joint of the spine.A treatment cycle of 1 to 3 injections of OSTENIL® mini helps restore the normal balance between the breakdown and the production of hyaluronic acid in the affected joint. The net result is a decrease in pain and improvement in joint mobility which may last at least 6 months.
Ostenil Mini should only be administered by a qualified medical practitioner or a healthcare provider who is trained in administering intra-articular injections.
Ostenilis a solution containing hyaluronic acid which is injected into the space in a joint that contains synovial fluid.
