Arctic Blast cold therapy works by creating vasoconstriction in the peripheral blood vessels, reducing inflammation.

The Arctic Blast compression bandage reduces the temperature after 8 minutes to 19.6 degrees centigrade.

The bandage has been designed to lower the temperature at joints and soft tissue injuries for up to 2 hours making it ideal for cryo therapy use.

Because heat emanates from the body, Arctic Blast is claimed to cool the damaged tissue faster than ice, hence helping the speed recovery.
